"Spew" possibly an exaggeration. I didnt indicate diesel coming out of the run out of the nozzle.?

Been driving proffessionally for 20 years, just close-fisted ,petrol, nice clean foot whilst diesel, wet foot, unless I wear those fetching
disposable gloves

Nope, no question here.

I bothered to check your previous question to catch the full question. I permeate cars with petrol and juggernauts beside diesel, both North American models. The cars have a longer, narrower plague pipe which means I hold to try harder to get the fuel spilling out the top. The tank on the truck, however, basically hold no fill pipe and are pretty wide, thus making splash and splutter a adjectives thing. It is avoidable by easing up when the fuel is almost to the top of the container, but then it take forever and who has that quality of time. I just wear regular gloves which are already filthy from checking the brakes and fluid level. The smell is never too bad (course, I suspect my antenna has no odour detection capability).

Sorry I enjoy no brilliant insight on how to solve the problem, just another example of trucks not fitting the human body.
Er, could it be that diesel's oilier and doesn't evaporate a like greased lightning as petrol? So it hangs round long adequate to get on everything.
