the car still have the original cassette console surrounded by, which has the massive display screen on it. How difficult is it to fit a cd player near ipod connection?

It's not wireless.
It feed your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when bad. It comes with an On/Off switch that can used or it can be replaced beside a relay powered by the remote wire from the radio (is so equiped).

it shouldn't be too hard you can carry cd player kits for installing them within diferent size areas at a car audio shop or even basically get them to do it for you. it does not cost adjectives that much and its worth it to get it done professionally
You'll involve to get a fascia adaptor from someone close to Autoleads or connects2. The 02 Ibiza will have standard ISO connector but the eternal and ignition feeds will be in reverse for an aftermarket set so need swapping over.
