"procedure entry point" downfall within Works?
When I try and access my Works database, spreadsheets etc I get "the procedure entry point ...... could not be located contained by the dynamic link library". I tried the repair program surrounded by add/repair programs and also uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it still doesn't work. Any ideas, please?
Answers:
The works program is trying to access a procedure in a dll.
The dll is probably not the correct version.
Within respectively dll file here is a header section for respectively 'entry point'
(what part of the dll contains the function code) for a function or subroutine in the dll.
As I say its probably an incorrect reworked copy or the CLSID (Class ID)
is incorrect in the registry.
What you will find is a conflict of version between works and the database.
