1&1 stupid template..?

I'm trying to create a website with 1&1, me thinking I could upload my pre-designed page onto it- doesn't look that way! Is in that anyway with 1&1 I can draw from rid of the cheesy colours. It just doesn't look approaching a singers page, more like a hotel page! argh!
Answers: thats how they use template for. they are always rudimentary.

delete any files from your account, and upload your files instead.

you can use ftp. i use filezilla which is a great, powerful and free program for ftp.

alternativily, you could ask a professional for relief

I finished beside 1&1 for that reason! their template are crap and not user friendly at all If you're within you period where on earth you can bin it then do it! I use a host where on earth you can create your own site and upload it

I'm not familiar beside 1&1, but look for the index.html (possibly in the control panel for your site) and variation the color styles to your choice..

ie: search the page for color reference such as hexadecimal notations like #000000 and conveyance those to the colors you want

Just FTP your own pages to the correct directory! Making sure you enjoy an index.html or index.php or index.htm file.
All hosts bestow this option. If they don't next it is not a propper hosting service!
