3 Course Meal for Boyfriends Birthday?

My friend has a short time ago text me aphorism its her blokes birthday tomorrow and she wants to cook him a 3 course lunchtime.

All I could come up with be soup and crusty bread, Roast chicken and all the trimmings, followed by Strawberries and cream. Pretty primary really.

But that sounds a bit boring, what would you suggest? Bearing in mind that her culinary skills are not that amazing.
Answers:    Starter of deli bought big ravioli 2 or 3 pieces per human being served hot with a drizzle of truffle grease

main course of tub fried sea bass fillet served on a bed of spinach shop bought potato daupinoise

dessert fresh strawberries served with fresh cream beside crumbled amerreto biscuits on top

All really easy to put together but looks super impressive

I estimate what you suggested sounds quite nice... although I'm not a disciple of gourmet cooking so it probably would. A simple (boring?) suppertime like that lol, it's better than some fancy piece you would get within a restaurant and the effort is what is substantial
All sounds nice. How about tallying coffee with baileys irish cream. Whip some irish cream into cream and spoon it over the coffee consequently grate chocolate over the top to finish.

If you can find it franjelico goes ably with baileys within coffee (but not in the cream - newly use baileys in that).
l construe he want mind if she serves him a cooked snake as long as she serves it with a smile, wearing illustrious heels and apron only.
prawn and Mellon starter consequently main course of steak, mushrooms and onions served next to mini roast potatoes and peas, and then followed next to apple pie and ice cream....she could prepare the starter and put within fridge ready for the breakfast time, then past the meal starts put roasties contained by oven and then when they start first course she could put steak and onions on a low bake so its ready to serve not long after starter and later the puds easy. timed to perfection and save a load of hassle of doing a huge chicken roast and adjectives the trimmings ( and all them pan )
Tell her to do the most basic sour all, a shrimp cocktail to start, a great roast beef, beside garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans almondine, the best Au jus recipe you know he loves(call his mom), and I don`t know some warm mini croissants. Serve homemade melt brownies for dessert with a cappuccino gelato(or a cheesecake w/his fave topping). If it's only he and her tell her to do the undamaged thing wearing lingerie, beside a nice candle lit dinner for two, otherwise wear something super sexy underneath whatever she is wearing. biddable Fun!
how about spagetti, chicken mayo salad and possibly a cocktail drink invented by her, specially for her bf. Think her bf will really love her lots. Good luck to her.
A beer to start with...a rib eye steak. later her for dessert. Yum
Breaded mushrooms with garlic dip to start

Steak near stilton sauce, chunky chips and peas

Chocolate cheesecake and cream
tell her to own sex with him instead and afterwards go down to the pub and put away
Anything she makes him will be great. Because it is the force that counts, not what is made. Rachel Ray at foodnetwork has great meal for date nights, if you or her want to browse through that.
