About Sims 1!!!?
My sim has a short time ago had a kid? Do they stay babies for ever or will grow up cos its really annoying??

Yes, the baby will grow up to be a kid latter on, but it takes 3 full Sim days of nurture. However, if you or your Sim fail to meet the baby's requirements or he/she starves, Social Services will come and take him away.

They will grow up but you have to nurture them. Keep them chirpy and buy them toys. Teach them and they will grow up fast.

the baby sims will grow up to be toddlers, and later into childern and then teens and finally an grown. It is pretty annoying when they are babies, but just gross sure to always nurture them enough, sort sure they get adequate rest and to always build sure to change their diaper and go for a dip them and they will grow into a toddler faster. now the toddler is annoying too, because you own to teach it to meander, talk and potty train. Sims are great! accurate luck!
they do grow up eventually,try to get another sim to look after the kid while your sim fills her hygiene,hunger etc up, otherwise social services come within and take your newborn away, very frustrating after you've be playing for so long,good luck.
As long as you nurture it, it will grow into an even more annoying child who you hold to look after and send to institution. If you don't look after it it will die.
it takes almost four days i just kept my Sim at home and consequently started it a new art for it if you don't take contemplation it will be taken away oh and you poor Sim who cares for it will inevitability loads of time to get over it food friendship etc the kid will move about to school and if it dose loads of home work it get money

ha, all right congraulations!! as people enjoy said, they grow up fast (3 days) but if i be you, forget jobs and necessarily work the parents in shifts, one is awake while other is asleep and move the bed near the babe-in-arms so you can get to it vigorously!! if it cries for too long, social services come and take it away (can be terribly distressing for you if you have kept it going for ages!!)

When your Sims own a baby (either smoothly or by adoption), you will have to run care of it for 3 days.
Since you'll plausible have 2 adults to thieve care of the child, you can alternate between them so they can both keep their job. You only catch yelled at if they skip work for sometime (fired if missed twice, except for those on "The Road to Fame").
Pretty much just enjoy the kid in a room where on earth the adult can sleep, so that adult will stir up when the baby starts crying & you'll be capable of take contemplation of it's needs now.
If you fail to whip care of the tot during that time will result in Social Services taking the kid away.
If you label it through the 3 days, the baby will grow up to be a kid & move about through the game as one... unless you enjoy Makin' Magic installed, which will allow you to turn themselves into an adult... but that's beyond the flexibility of your question.
