A screw broke inside i apparatus i hold and i cant screw it out-any suggestions to capture it out?


Answers:    drill it with a smaller bit than the screw !! the remaining outer of the screw can after be tweaked out

It depends on what machine what size and position of the screw
Magnet.i hold one i use to retrive screws while auto mechanicing its on a telescoping wand
does it enjoy sharp edges? if so like a table lamp when it breaks i use a potato to unscrew it. maybe that might work.
Provided the surrounding parts are not too fragile, the best path to remove a screw that has broken is next to a drill.

To drillout a screw you need a drill bit just about the same or slightly smaller diameter than the screw thread. Drill throught the broken screw lead and it will break the screw, removing it easily.
Jeeze. Aren't you going to buy it a drink up to that time you screw it? That might help to "loosen it up".

Seriously though. Maybe something slippery resembling a bit of oil or that one nut and bolt loosening spray would facilitate, along with a duo of tweezers. Sorry, but I can't remember the name of the spray.

Keep in mind that the screw extractors mentioned are extremely rock-hard and very brittle. If you break one stale in the hole you are really within trouble now because a drill bit will not drill it.
