If you enjoy a meter they may be assuming its because your paying a debt off on it. I couldnt gain my electricity changed until after Id had my meter taken out. For some common sense a new supplier doesnt seem to be to want to take on a meter user. If you own no debt, your current supplier should change you to a direct debit, consequently you can change suppliers.
I guess you might enjoy to set aside a bit of time to get on the phone and try and explain adjectives this to your gas company ( or to a new company if you want to amendment ). It might take a bit while and a bit of perseverance but here shouldn't be any real common sense why they won't let you conveyance. If you've got no credit rating because you've never have any credit, then explain that to them - everybody have to start somewhere.
