A rough estimate on double glazing, in need a salesman!?
Milton Keynes, Bucks UK. Just a normal three bed house, two doors, six window, nothing fancy, but pitch-black wood grain effect on out side and white on inside. Can anyone pass me a very rough notion on the cost ??

double glazing is expensive
we had 2 window and a door done and it cost us lb1800 (this was through a friend who owns a glazier business)
other firms quoted us lb7000 to lb8000 for 2 window and a door!! be careful previously you agree to have it done and who does it, shop around and don't go and get done over cos we nearly were!
It depends like mad on how many "openable" bits you enjoy in the window.
just avoid staybrite procure a local company
up to lb800 for the doors depending on the design, as for the windows depends on the sizes, from lb100 for a metre sq up to lb3/400 for 3 metres. Are you fitting them yourself , else a company will charge you at most minuscule lb4500 if your lucky.
