hi all im constructing a cup floor in my house ..ive contated a mixture of glass dealer who give me conflicting insist on im using laminated glass what bulk do i use..the panels are 600mm*600mm and supported on adjectives four sides in size and the frame single sits 1 foot off the ground..subsequent question is can laminated cup be ut at home with a chalice cutter...thanks for answering
Answers:    Second request for information first - I think that the thicknes of cup you need wont be capable of be cut at home, they will have to be ordered to size.

First request for information - quite gluey, maybe 2" or more. There be a thing on TV showing an 80kg man breaking through a 1" tacky laminated glass windowpane when travelling at 7 mph, you dont want to fall over and break your floor, or fly and break it, so thicker than 1"

Where do you live? Are you in the UK? If so I suggest you speak to Meronden Designs, base in Farnham. The proprietor specialises surrounded by glass architecture and there's not much he doesn't know give or take a few the subject. Sounds like a fabulous project you've undertake!
You really need to contact a specialist. Most cup merchants only supply porthole glass, and probably don't enjoy anyone who is qualified to deal beside glass for structural purposes.
Laminated cup has several layer with plastic picture between them. If there are two layer, you might do it with a chalice cutter, if there are three or more, you requirement special equipment.
Glass is one thing, what roughly speaking shades?
you cant use a glass cutter on chalice tiles. you need an angle grinder near a glass adjectives disc. i think a earthen disc will do the job. hold you had a structural survey done on your house? chalice is heavy! also its hugely safe as flooring or walling, but not for window. fire hazzard, no escape. i once threw a wrecking bar at 12 mill laminated chalice and it bounced back!
