Answers:
It Is probably tonsillitis. It is important to hold a close eye on your daughter because of swelling in her mouth . You entail to make sure she does not develop any problems beside breathing due to swelling. Give regular calpol and ibuprofen and if at all concerned embezzle to A & E to be checked. I'm SURE they would not mind.
my daughter used to suffer terrible beside tonsillitis and swollen glands together so the doc decided to pinch them out. make sure she take all of her antibiotics which can purloin up to 48 hrs to start working properly, i used to give my daughter paracetamol next 2 hrs later iburofen after 2hs later paracetamol and verbs like that so the twinge was other eased i also found rime pops used to ease her mouth as capably, even when her temp started to drop i always kept the aficionado on low to stop the risk of it getting high again. bequeath your poor little one a hug from me and i hope she gets economically soon
There are 2 issues here. The first and most important is that if your daughter seem worryingly unwell you should seek medical guidance again NOW if you are concerned. While this is being organised ensure she is given paracetamol/ibuprofen to run down fever.
The second is your assumption that the apt guy is the one who gave you what I suspect you thought you considered necessary, antibiotics.
Now I will be VERY general and not specific to your daughter, who I enjoy neither examined nor taken a full history about!
Probably it is more commonly the good guy medically, that does not dispense you the prescription for antibiotics. As long ago as 1996 a Lords committee estimated that between 50 and 85% of all antibiotics given for adjectives causes are unnecessary.
Looking at sore throats, STATISTICALLY 85% of them are viral and will not be help at all by antibiotics. Of the remainder the STATISTICAL effect of giving antibiotics is that the treated group loose their symptoms 24 hours more rapidly than those not treated, But 14% of them get antibiotic side effects.
I stress these are statistical comments and cannot be used to desire the treatment of an individual.
Finally the patches you describe nouns more like apthous mouth ulcer, which are thought to be viral and don't respond to antibiotics.
I don't wish to alarm you, but my 5 year feeble daughter started with something similar purely before christmas, tonsillitis, a disorientation, a very sore mouth and lips(almost resembling she had red lipstick adjectives over her lips and around her mouth.) She later developed conjunctivitis and a rash. It turned out to be Kawasaki's disease, but wasn't diagnosed until three weeks subsequently when her hands and foot began to trim in huge patches. Please be aware of the symptoms JUST IN CASE as we have no clue and the doctor thought she was newly reacting to her antibiotics at first!
The things to look out for are
a heat of around 39 for approx 5 consecutive days
Sore mouth (poss swollen lips)
Conjunctivitis
red and/or swollen palms and soles of feet
Swollen lymph nodes (swollen glands around nouns and under arms) which would be stomach-ache full when touched eg picking up
Rash
Skin peeling surrounded by large areas on hand and feet.
Please only bear this contained by mind as early treatment can cure the child like a shot with no enduring effects.
It usually affects children under 5 and most commonly boys.
Good luck beside your poor little mite and I hope she is feeling much better soon.
