A lot of the addiction to smoking have to do with the customs of lighting a cigarette and the feeling of have something in your mouth. Great tip is to replace the cigarette beside something else. Lollies, tooth picks or what worked great for me liquorice wood(good for the teeth too).

Don't do it!! be strong! it's better in the long run and you can be so proud of yourself when you slaughter it for good, it's probably the best entity you could achieve, for you and the culture who care for you, pious luck.
Stay strong. Don't give into the craving for that god-awful poison. The cravings will outdo soon and the habit will fade. Trust me. I've be there. Just stick to your guns and remember why you quit. Remember what they really are and what they do to your body. Picture yourself on a respirator gasping for nouns, with COPD or Emphysema or cancer. Look at cigarettes as the antagonist, not your long lost friend.

I quit, cold turkey, almost 2 years ago. It was tricky, but it got easier and easier every daytime. I avoided my 'triggers' the first few days (things that make you want a smoke). Also, I developed some better customs like a nice waddle after dinner and hanging beside some oft neglected non-smoking friends (who actually turned out to be really cool, funny race!).

Now, I don't even think just about smoking anymore, and I can't imagine how I did it for 20 years. What a dope I be! I'm so much more active immediately (I actually LOST substance!), and I feel so wholesome and full of energy. At 42, I grain younger and better than I did at 32.
It is very, fundamentally, hard to do.I tried and in truth felt off-colour, the patches give me nightmares!(True)I lasted 17 days, and I must utter I felt really 'strange'.I will try again though,a short time ago try to hang contained by there and preserve coming on here for a bit of moral support.

Under no circumstances do not start again. You have gone through the worst, it get easier every day from no on. Before you know where on earth you are, you will be a non-smoker and much healthier and happier.
