He was put surrounded by reccommended boarding kennels for 1 week when he was 5mths. Since next he has be terrifed of strangers. He growls and tries to avoid them. I spoke to the vet and she advised that in that was no aggression surrounded by his behaviour - of late fear. He is fab next to anyone we know and a very ably behaved dog. I try and introduce him to as copious people as possible including him walking through the town interior on market days. I don't know what else I can do. Please minister to!!

This is why i never board my dogs,a friend had a simlar problem near there goldie when she be boarded she came put money on fearfull and growling at strangers.I have worked surrounded by boarding kennels aswell and i have see behind the scene,i left one place because of the treatment of the dogs. It's so central that you go and look around the kennels formerly actually boarding your dogs, engineer sure your happy beside the enviroment and treatment of the dogs.As your dogs still very infantile, there is great hope that he can be trained to trust strangers again, esp as he have had perfect socilisation.Ask visitors to look right through your dog for the time beeing,no eye contact etc.Let your dog come to them on his own terms, when he does praise him and nurture him a treat, ask the visitors first if they can also treat him, give them a handfull of appetizing treats,so that your dog can associate them as a positive thing again.Dont force him to budge up to strangers etc be very merciful and always stay cool,so your dog realises there is nil to be scared of.Your vet could also refer you to a dog behaviourist.Next time dont evacuate your dog in kennels though, any get a clan member to look after him or a pet sitter or even lift him with you.Good luck.
Why be it recommended to put him in a boarding Kennel for a week, anyway, unless you be going to be gone. I'm 90 percent sure he was any abused by the staff of the kennel or attacked by another dog at the kennel. You have to tolerate him get his trust support. If he is to be around strangers, make sure they approach him low to the ground to be smaller number intimidated by them. Be very slow and serene with doesn`t matter what you do with him and when he begin to show less and smaller amount growling and avoiding people, be sure to reward him ably. Socialize him often next to small animals. In time he will come out of this but he has be traumatized and it will take a great deal of patience and love. Make sure here are no rowdy children, sudden moves, etc.
check out that boarding kennel, that dog was markedly mistreated while in their custody, the concern that it is displaying is a classic symtom, it is quite possible you will never get hold of it out of him. when hes around new population, dont push him, he will warm to strangers within his own time format great dogs dont start out bad, but they sure can finishing up that way, its very soon your job to work the aggression out of him, be helpful, but firm
Some it may have to do beside trust, the 5month mark (to nearly a year) dogs can be frightened pretty easily and it make a bigger impression than it would during other times of their vivacity.
My recommendation is to work obediance training next to him 2-3 times a day for 10 or so minutes beyond 'sit' 'down' 'stay'. This will build up his confidence and reassure him who's the boss (you), and when you're out contained by new situations and around those he will (literally) look to you for signs as to how to react. A biddable way to train dogs to do usual, everyday behaviors is clicker training because it rewards them for good behavior (so when he's friendly around someone, he starts generalize it to everyone).
You could also take him to a dog park as long as he isn't dog aggressive. He would attain to socialize with race as well as dogs.
when he is around race he doesnt know or tries to run from them, the first thing to do is NOT force him to be around this individual. is it any one person that your bully is alarmed of or is it people within general.
My bull terrier rowdy doesnt approaching some people because of how they react and treated him. other then that, hes a wonderful bully. have anyone treated him any way other next friendly?
after you rule out any negative behavior, try some positive reinforcement. when hes around relatives hes scared of, let have him leashed for saftey, as you know bullies are amazingly strong and fast, when hes leashed achieve his favorite treats and have him around them, while constantly feed treats, and talking within a calm soothing voice..reassure him that everything is ok. this will pilfer time, but sooner or later he will revise that strangers are ok. also during your training time, keep screaming and shrilling to non existance
