Do boxer dogs attain along near cats?

Answers:    depends on the dog, depends on the cat !! My dog and cat get along simply fine - just stipulation to socialize them correctly, from young age if at all possible :-)

If raised from a pup they should adjust powerfully. A Boxer is a wonderful dog and I highly recommend them.
I have a couple boxers and always have a cat at the same time and never have any problems.

With any breed of dog, you need to school the dog that the cat is off margins for them. Let them approach the cat on a leash but the instant they try and chase it, bark at it, bite it or anything resembling that, say 'No!' surrounded by a loud voice and give a sharp push on the leash. Repeat until they are friendly or at least indifferent to the cat.

My final boxer and cat would chase each other within a playful manner, it be so funny!
yes.. i have 20 cats and 4 boxers and they come across to along fine, although some of the cats are losing their hair from stress and one dog have a huge scar. but once they amount theyre stuck with respectively other forever they calm down
yes in fact they do, I had that combo a few years ago, the dang bulldog terminated up boning the cat. haha cute story isnt it. they had tot cogs.
They aren't aggressive dogs as far as I know, but when it comes to liking cats, it vary from dog to dog. A Boxer who is raised beside cats would probably be fine with cats. However, I would be guarded when introducing ANY adult dog that have never met a cat.

It also goes the other approach. Some cats love dogs, others don't. Keep the cat's feelings within mind when introducing it to a dog.
it really depends on the personallity of the dog and cat.
Also if you want to test it out dont rush/push them together.
Keep the dog/cat surrounded by the same room together next to only one within
a cage.See if they are clawing at one another or if lound HISS sounds and bark is occuring. If so then its not such a polite idea.If after roughly speaking 1 day ..or even a couple hours..if they grasp along fine let the pet out of the enclose.Supervise the pets in duplicate room and see how they respond.Best of luck
it counts when their young if they spend time beside cats
It all depends on raise. Boxers can be wonderful around other pets - if raised near them. The four Boxers I work with regularly cheerfully share their home with two Manx cats. But if I be to bring a cat into my home with my 3 Boxers - it'd be disaster waiting to come to pass (not to mention adding the Springer Spaniel Boxer wannabe to the mix) An elder Boxer without cat socialization will conjecture the cat's a wonderful toy.
if you get the boxer as a puppy you should hold no problems if yuo are trying to introduce an adult boxer to a cat youmay hold problems, always hold on to a firm hand on the full-grown to make sure the cat does not receive hurt
when doge and cats are little and they live with respectively other until there grown they wont chase respectively other or the dog chase the cat
if its a good friendly dog, my golden retriver and cat are close to best friends
boxers are playful by nature
and are wonderfully disobedient
(mine is anyway) The boxer is not
an agressive dog unless they are really pushed into a corner, your boxer will not bestow up toying
with the cat until it is smug and the novelty have worn off (this could lug upto 10x longer than most other types of dog breed) due to the boxers
inquisitive nature, the cat instead will probably be half upset to death by that time
but for allready dead from shock and nouns
if it is a extremely agile and foolishly persisant cat and has the persistence of a super trained athlete,it may have a jump at the boxer and scratch its eye out,you will enjoy to periodically check for this because your boxer will not show any signs
of discouragement whatsoever, almost to a point of suicide,i dont know if they are stupid or extremely brave?bit of both maybe.goodluck
ps:you may okay need to arrange alternative accomadation for yourself and pets because i enjoy this uncanny feeling your house will be totally trashed contained by the boxer/cat bonding process
It depends if the dog is a puppy and the cat isnt scared of dogs so the dog can grow up fear comfotable around the ***** cat
yes they do i have a boxer they are the worlds sweetest loving dogs and see love cat and so dose my best mate bosxer it love cats aswell
My boxer hates cats but she have never had the opening to socialise with one.
If the dog is raise in a household that already have a cat there shouldn't be a problem.
We enjoy 14 cats and 2 german shepherds the cats tend to take supremacy of the dogs like stealing their food from lower than their nosed pinching the dogs bed actuall using the dogs as pillows or enen bed and they fawn all over one another
This is adjectives a matter of upbringing and training. There is no use why a Boxer should not get along capably with a cat , especially if they are particularly introduced to each other and supervised contained by the early stages. There are frequent instances where substantial dogs, and that includes Boxers, are very moral friends.

Like all things contained by dog ownership, a sensible approach is the key!
Yep - mine does unbelievably well although they own their mad 5 minute moments, usually provoked by the cat!!
if they be brought up together maybe depends on what u coach your dog as well as a rule dogs and cats do no take on
we had a cat when we get a boxer dag and at first they didn't get along, they used to be at odds all of the time next after awhile they got used to respectively other, and they used to sleep together and play together as well as drinking out of the same bowl at impossible to tell apart time,
That's not down to a particular breed but down to the individuality of the dog and of course, to the cat, too.
