No. Had the best time. Party party bash london style!
No.
But I've been living in a foreign country for fourteen years and each time I call round the UK I'm glad not to live there any more. It's a great place to pop in but the people give the impression of being so stressed/depressed. I don't want to become like that again, enthusiasm is better elsewhere! Also native Brits give the impression of being to have become more intolerant of others and I abhor racism within any shape or form.
I love visiting though, it's the best country for pleasure - shopping, culture, nightlife etc but working natural life there and paying the bills is newly impossible.
No. I go within regularly and always return. You can own a bad experience anywhere and it also depends on how all right your trip is planned and where you are staying, resembling a good or impossible area. I own no complaints anyway.
In Scotland... PERFECT...
Left UK in '96. Visit conceivably once a year, family etc. Won't ever live at hand again, though.
Look at it this way, if you arrived from another planet and could live anywhere on Earth, how far down the detail would UK come?
No, but after 22 years of living in the country I have a feeling fairly dissillusioned and want to bring back out, which I should be finally doing in August/September.
It's the Labour senate that has ruined the country, ironic how we adjectives thought they were saviour in '97.
Civil liberty are now a piece of the past near alien concepts like public smoking ban and compulsory ID cards, CCTV of course everywhere.
Also over-immigration and over-pandering to the wants of these minorities has made our country a far worse place
The reality that Gordon Brown will beocme PM in a few weeks even though we didnt elect or want him
I contemplate David Cameron will be PM in 2 years time and who know , perhaps it can solely get better.
I doubt I will be here to see the outcome any way though
